11/16/10 - Tuesday -  Today i got my butt in gear after reading this awesome post about living more simply: http://www.becomingminimalist.com/2010/11/01/why-i-stopped-using-a-dishwasher/  and ordered an even better dishrack: http://www.chefscatalog.com/product/25537-progressive-collapsible-over-sink-dish-rack.aspx. I also took a knife to those cracks between the pine wood floor boards and vaccumed up all the gunk. Ahh...empty cracks.  The trick will be vaccuuming and sweeping the kitchen everyday.....until i start - and finish - the ragrug i've been dreaming about making :-)

10/15/10-  it's been a while folks. Need to figure out how to end the perpetually crumb-covered kitchen floor. I mean...i must sweep it at least 2 times a day...really people.  i have GOT to be doing something wrong here. worst of it is...the pine wood floor boards are not tightly fit, so the crumbs fall in the spaces!!!!!!!what would you do Einstein?

9/14/10 - 2:14  Tuesday:Ordering this dishrack soon: http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=205190

8/3/10 - 3:29pm Tuesday:

Today I have  my opportunity for harmonic simplicity: a date with the pantry. It is the heart of the kitchen, which is the heart of this home. It needs a serious quadruple bypass. I'm rolling up my sleeves. Stay tuned for pics on the transformation.....
